Living with a cyclist

My name is Matt and I live with a cyclist, this involves large amounts of expenditure, time fixing bikes and travel.

What is worse is that she is finishing her PhD in microbioloogy at the same time. Again involving large amounts of support. I suppose that this means that I must love her.

It's been a pretty busy time recently, Bec had just come second in the time trial at the national road series, when a week later she was involved in an accident with a car. This has meant large amounts of rehabilitation. During this time we managed to get her bike replaced and get a time trial bike for her with the support of Onya Bike in Belconnen.

Bec will have nice pictures of the new machine on her page. The aim is to use the bike both for time trials and track racing. In a couple of weekends time the bike will be out for the first run in an event. Bec will be competing in the Illawarra Cycling club time trial series. This will be her first hit out after the injury and a good lead up to the NSW State Time Trial.
